These Terms of Use govern your use of the Pawivo website and app. This is a pre-launch draft and will be refined before public launch.
1. Who can use Pawivo
You may use Pawivo if you can lawfully form a contract in your jurisdiction. If you use Pawivo on behalf of an organization, you confirm you have authority to do so.
2. Your responsibilities
- You are responsible for how you use the app (e.g. when tracking walks and events).
- You are responsible for keeping your device and account access secure.
- You should verify information that affects your dog's health with a professional.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the service for unlawful purposes.
- Attempt to reverse engineer, disrupt, or abuse the service.
- Upload malicious content or try to access systems you do not own.
4. Your content and data
You retain ownership of your data (e.g. walk history, notes, and reminders). We may process this data to provide features such as route display, stats, timelines, charts, and reminders.

5. Availability
We aim to keep the service available, but availability is not guaranteed - especially during beta. Features may change, be removed, or be temporarily unavailable.
6. Disclaimers
- Pawivo is provided "as is" during beta.
- Stats and estimates (e.g. calories) are informational and may be inaccurate.
- Pawivo does not provide medical/veterinary advice.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. This includes loss of data, loss of profits, or issues resulting from reliance on estimates.
8. Changes
We may update these Terms. The "Last updated" date will reflect changes.
9. Data deletion (right to be forgotten)
If you wish to have all your personal data deleted, you can exercise your right to be forgotten by contacting us at contact@pawivo.app. We will process your request and remove your data within a reasonable timeframe in accordance with applicable law.
